Drej's 60 Day Hub Challenge Summary

I wrote my hubs for the 60 day challenge and so now it is time to write an article on my hub summaries.

I must say that meeting the 60 day goals was very challenging. It involved a lot of hard work and dedication. However, just in this small length of time, I've noticed nearly a thirty percent increase in overall traffic, translating to about a 6.1 percent increase in google adsense earnings. And, honestly, I just scratched the surface in completing the first phase. In short the 60 day challenge does work!

Now, it's onto the second phase of the 60 day challenge. A place where we, as in the entire hub challenge team, organize our thoughts and actually promote all our hard work. Here are my 60 day challenge summaries!!

NFL Teams

2010 Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs began this season with a bang! They rattled off 3 straight wins against formidable opponents such as the San Diego Chargers and the 49ers. Let's see why the 2010 Kansas City Chiefs are off to such a great start. For starters, with Sam Cassel leading the aerial attack and Jamaal Charles slicing up defenses, the KC offense looks explosive. Speaking of Jamaal Charles, holy cow is he fast! He truly is amazing and a mini-Chris Johnson in the making. Although Jamaal is great; I find myself more and more impressed with KC's defense. They are flying all over the place creating a lot of havoc to opposing quarterbacks. So, hold on tight Kansas City fans because the Chiefs are going to give you a ride!

2010 Chicago Bears

Welcome Bears fans as another NFL season is underway! The Chicago Bears are off to a great start this season with Mike Martz calling the shots for Cutler and crew. Honestly, Matt Forte looks like a mini-version of Marshall Faulk (back in his heyday). As for Jay Cutler, he making the right decisions on the field thus far. And how about dat Chicago D!! The defense is lead by the likes of Brian Urlacher and Julius Peppers who deliver bone crunching hits all day. They look like the Bears D from '06! Ahh, yes, it is great to be a football fan this time of year. And as the season wages on, the anticipation and excitement soars to unquantifiable levels! Soon the questions will arise. Will my team make the playoffs? Who's in, who's out? So, I ask you Chicago Bears fanatic sports fans...Will the Bears make it to the Superbowl this year?

2010 Philadelphia Eagles

Welcome Philly fans to what will be a great 2010 Philadelphia Eagles season. Far from being the nfc east champions of 2008, the Philadelphia Eagles come into this 2010 season with a brand new squad. After the release of all-pro running back Brian Westbrook and the trade of Donavon McNabb (who were members of that '08 nfc championship team), the Eagles are ready to kickoff with a whole new generation of all-stars. Philadelphia are now featuring players like Kevin Kolb, Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson, LeSean McCoy, and Jeremy Maclin just to name a few. They are young, quick, fast, and possess a ton of talent! The potential is there, now it’s all about execution. Hopefully the Philadelphia Eagles can keep up with their divisional rivals because the northeast looks like a juggernaut division this year. So, Philly fans, put your game faces on...are you ready for some football?

2010 Washington Redskins

Welcome Washington fans as we enter yet another great NFL season! The NFC East may possibly be the cream of the crop this year as the division rivals bang away at each other in an epic struggle for first place.The 2010 Washington Redskins come into the season with a completely different look from last year. It all started in the off-season with the acquisition of Coach Mike Shanahan. On January 5, 2010, Shanahan agreed to a whopping 5 year, 35 million dollar deal as the Redskin's new head coach and Executive Vice President of Football Operations. Essentially, Mr. Shanahan was given all the keys, allowing him full access to all of his players. With key acquisitions, most notably, the pickup of Donovan McNabb, the Redskins look like a fierce competitor in the NFC!

Fantasy Football for Beginners

Fantasy Football is great for many reasons. For some, it's for the glory of having a winning team. For others, fantasy football is about the grand prize and receiving a huge payoff in the end. For me, although I love to win (or most of all, I hate to lose) and make some extra fantasy cash, participating in a football fantasy league enhances my overall NFL experience. Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Controversy

Poor Philadelphia Eagles. Ever since the infamous McNabb trade, there's been nothing but questions and speculation towards head coach Andy Reid. And after Week 1 of the NFL, it appears there's nothing but more questions and more speculation. For starters, the Redskins are fresh off of their Week 1 triumph over the Dallas Cowboys. Is McNabb the reason for Washington's success? Well, he certainly didn't hurt their cause. Meanwhile, the Eagles are left in despair after their home opener loss to the Green Bay Packers. Kevin Kolb, Andy Reid's proclaimed quarterback, had a sub-par performance against Green Bay. On the contrary, Michael Vick relieved an injured Kolb and his numbers were excellent. So, Philadelphia fans, it looks like the Eagles have a quarterback controversy brewing!

Welcome Philadelphia Eagles fans to another amazing 2010 NFL season! It is Week 3 of the NFL and we are all excited about the early nfc east division lead. Also, congratulations to Michael Vick in his 2nd straight start as the Eagles quarterback. He had a heck of a performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars defense, scoring a cumulative 4 touchdowns. It looks like he is the old Vick, showing off that cannon arm and devastating opponents with his ridiculous speed. Now we need to carry this momentum for the rest of the NFL season. Why I Hate the Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys...the epitome of evil. The redheaded step child of the national football league. Just saying the name out loud brings a nasty taste in my mouth. It's an odd feeling, to tell you the truth, but it's very real. Look at them parading around that blue Dallas star and those dull gray NFL helmets. It's sickening. The symbol alone makes me want to punch a Cowboy fan right in the face. No questions, no real reasons, and no remorse...just flat out, SMACK, right in the kisser. Honestly, I'm an easy going guy. Let's talk writing! Some people hate to write and others love the entire writing process. No doubt, writing can be an arduous task, creating a lot of heartbreak and despair. It's a lonely place really, filled with darkness because there's nobody there to hold your hand. Star Trek vs Star Wars

Star Trek or Star Wars? During the past 30 years or so, there has been an ongoing debate between the two juggernaut science-fiction universes. Now, before I begin, let me start off by saying that I am well aware that there are many similar articles. However, in my opinion, nobody provides a fair assessment or a definitive answer...trek or wars. Personally, I am not only a big fan of both sci-fi worlds, but I also have a lot of invested interest with both franchises. I know a lot about star wars history and the star trek universe. Star Trek The Next Generation vs The Original Series

Star Trek the original series is a great series. It's was the pioneer of not only the Star Trek franchaise itself, but of science fiction television, facing controversial issues, and to take viewers to a place they never thought possible. Graphic novels are comics. As much as DC comics and Marvel want to persuade you otherwise, graphic novels are just a marketers' ploy to make more money. Why? Well, for some reason, society has labeled comic books as children's literature. Comics are shunned to a 2nd tier rating, for lack of a better term, under the "real talented arts" of books and movies. Apparently, the majority of people think of comics as a simple 1940's Superman flick, where the superhero fights the villain and saves the girl. They think that graphic novels are for geeks and nerds who sit around and play dungeons and dragons all day. I'm here to say that's not what comic books are about. It's not what graphic novels represent. In the world of comics, there are all sorts of stories out there ranging from simple to complex, shallow to deep, awful to brilliant. Are you visiting Atlanta anytime soon?
